Hi guys,

I lost both my car keys to my car along with their alarm remotes. Do you guys know of cheap places to get remotes at? I contacted the dealer about the key and itll be almost 70 bucks (the locksmith I called said he couldn't make the key without pulling out the locks) but I need the remote for the system now because the replacements are around 150 :(.

Thanks,
Kevin

Lost? Lost where, do you think? If in the house, turn off all the lights and use your flashlight to focus your attention. This is the best way for us old fogies to search for "lost" items. (This works in the yard, too.)

Then again, if not immediately found, they will appear eventually. They'll come up in the general swim.

This I know because it seems that as I grow older, I spend more time looking for things than I spend using them.

Good luck!

Thanks for the responses. The prob I have now is that my mechanic forgot what alarm he installed in it.... he did it in 96 lol. He just told me that its a basic alarm system, less than $100. I tored apart my house and checked my friends car and called every place Ive been to over the weekend and no luck. I didn't realize I lost the other key bc it wasn't where I kept it, which means I probably took it in a rush and lost that too :(. Yeah I prob should call another locksmith because it sucks having to walk everywhere (especially carrying a bunch of orders to the post office lol which is a mile away). But at least Im not working right now so it's not too pressing.
