I seem to have lost the metal grain of rice- shaped pin that slots into the nemesis (clone) switch assembly. Works fine and not really any more crunchy than before. Anyone know if I should care??

Time will tell. My guess is you'll miss it eventually. I dropped mine and it took me a half hour for my old eyes to find it.
I prefer not having my button spin and not worrying that the switch may eventually get stuck in the mod. 
The little SILVER pin, is the bridge between your body and the contact. It will work without it, but it won't be as beastly. Get a new pin for $8 plus shipping: Nemesis Replacement Pin - Accessories - Atmomixani - Mechanical - Devices
Thanks fellas. Yes without the pin, the switch body won't unthread without the assembly coming apart, then you have to unstick the ma screws....you probably know what I'm trying to say. I found the handles on one of those black and silver binder clips was a close fit and cut to size. That works for now and hopefully till vaperrev gets replacements back in stock
I got the magnets included with the mod (hcigar). I do need the pin though either way right? I have installing the magnets as a future project -- do y'all like the magnets significantly more than the spring switch?
Magnets will last much longer than a spring ever could.
With Magnets properly set up the unit will not accidentally fire if sat down, I run some of the heaviest toppers without any issues.

It's just a brass cylinder. I'm sure if you can figure out the exact diameter you need, a metal supply shop should be able to give you a tiny piece of brass rod. Just file it to length, polish it up a bit and the button should be good as new.
