I believe that would be the Silver Bullet from altsmoke, and as it is VERY shiny it picked the darker color on the bottom half as a reflection (the sb is like a mirror)

Hey, Zofryer, sometimes a concentrated search works - in a darkened room, use a small flashlight to really PEER up, down, around, and under everything in the vicinity, including floor grates, under keyboards, and stuck to shoes or clothing. Don't forget the laundry hamper. If you have a CAT, dratted animals that they are, look in the room corners and under furniture. Cats love to make things that are up go down and things that are down to be batted into corners or hidden.

I'm going to take you up on this. I did a crazy person move all the furniture across the room and move it all back thing and still can't find it. Dernit. I watched THE PATH IT TOOK TO THE GROUND. I WATCH IT BOUNCE! IT SHOULD BE RIGHT WHERE IT LANDED. Now of course, ten seconds after I have the replacement in hand the original will be right on the floor where it dropped. Thanks Steve.

Any big dogs in the house? My friend's dog used to eat bottle caps and rocks (not a bright dog) if not, It's in the same dimension as socks that go missing in the wash. I have had this happen with a few things I would not like to talk about... lol... But it was quite the buzz kill if you know what I mean.. I think there is a black hole in your house. Or a vortex into another dimension. That is what I was telling myself that night it happened to me.. Feel for ya.

And yes you WILL find it just as soon as you have a new one in your hand... That is a clause in Murphy's Law.
