Hey there,

I just wanted to verify I did come up with a workable, good looking, 1-to-2 atomizer adapter for the 801 threads. I've actually built two, but I did NOT like the balance of the Prodigy with two sticking straight out of the top, so I've went with an elongaged S shaped adapter that puts the twin atomizers along the side close together with a custom 2-into-1 mouthpiece. It drops the height of the 801's about and inch and a half, actually looks damn cool in a starship kinda way, and is comfortable in the hand. In a few days when it's finished, I'll post pics and a video.

Initially I will say, dual 5v is awesome. It's exactly the way you think it's going to be. You get the same hit in half the time. Same vapor temperature. The big selling point is the double juice capacity. I had no problems making it through a movie without topping off. I love my ErgoLump mod, but I'm sorry. 5V is better.

Another neat benefit is the adapter is pretty rugged, so you can lay the Prodigy down on the double atomizers and it sits nice that way.

Look for more later.

Zo, going to need a picture of this asap!!! I'm curious!

It's finishing up. I just need to sand and finish. Construction is slightly tricky doing my "S-shaped, over the side" way, but it just looks so friggin cool. The interesting thing is no actual wires. I used two heavy duty paperclips bent in a slick way passing current and acting as a somewhat strong and rigid frame for the Magic Sculpt.

The droopy white part looks like it could use some .......;) But the twin attys with Y connector does look like a starship!

You modders are amazing! It is so much more fun:) hanging out here, in DIY, or in the Modders forum ... than in the depressing News and Law forums.:(

The first thing I think when I see mods like this is: my wife has it easier than she realizes. That mod is awesome. I have thought about getting into some mods myself, but my wife says I have too many hobbies as it is. As I write this I have ten gallons of homebrew on my kitchen floor waiting to be bottled, I have about 90 gallons of cider waiting to be bottled/possibly distilled, there's a sour dough starter in the fridge, not to mention all of the equipment for these things taking up space. Not to mention my hunting equipment and sausage making equipment. I have taken over a crisper drawer for my homebrew and vaping necessities. I don't know what she would do if I got into electronics more and started making mods. Maybe all I need is a larger place to live that has a basement, garage and workshop for these things.

And a quick note: BY ALL MEANS MAKE YOUR OWN, MARKET IT GOOD LORD I DON'T OWN THE RIGHTS TO THIS CRAP. Steve could probably come up with something nicer looking anyway.

The main benefit is the double cart capacity, and even easier draw. Vapor production is higher, but not a linear double. More like 60 percent more. If you just want a bigger hit, hold the button down longer. I wanted to last through movies without topping off carts. For that matter, there's probably a more intelligent way to increase cart capacity.
