No, apple uses a proprietary connector. What you want is a micro-USB cable.

I need a data cord so my next orion I can do the escribe, does an iphone charging cord work as a data cord?? Not too up on this stuff LOL I looked it up on ebay and saw phone cords called data cords so that's why I am asking :)

One issue im having with the 0.25 pods, random burnt hits. Using 50/50.
Have you turned off boost (set at 0) under EScribe for all DL and MTL profiles? And set warmth to 1? Don't forget to upload to device. And now you have to do 5 clicks to turn the Orion back on.

The interesting thing though, is that I "thought", temp (though not actually exposed) was still honored. Meaning yes it could use higher wattage to get TO the temp faster, but still should never allow it to actually exceed the target temp (which again, isn't actually exposed in replay even in boards with displays).

Well dansus, it is like boost on the Replay side. It boosts the wattage (higher than what you have it set to) briefly to get the coil up to temperature faster.

I believe you are right Vapor2112, but something about these tiny coils and maybe the DNA Go processor is a tad slow to react or something. But I can end up with a burning taste in the pod if boost and warmth is at the defaults. So I just turn them off and since Sep 20th (13 days now) no more burnt pods.

So curiosity got the better of me! I changed the pod on my first Orion, is has been in use since Sept. 14th. Nothing wrong with it, just me being me. I neglected one minor detail, I'm not home and don't have my "toy" arsenal at hand. Long story short, I mangled the thing. Compared to the fresh pod the vapor production was slightly diminished, so maybe I shouldn't feel too bad about changing it, even though it could've made it to one month easily.

Has anyone had any issues with pods not reading at all?
My boss gave me his Orion because he was t thrilled with it and he had a .25 on it and already filled. I emptied his juice, filled with mine and went on my way and had no issues. I bought a pack of .25 pods to have extras on hand.
I decided to swap to a brand new .25 to vape a dessert flavor. I filled it prior to putting in on the mod and when I put it in place and hit the fire button, it just blinked at me a few times and refused to fire. It’s blinking a sort of purple color? I assumed I just had a janky pod and tried the other- same issue! I’ve tried nearly everything, save for hooking it up to Evolve. I’ve gone through this entire thread and searched high and low on google and cannot for the life of me find anyone else having this issue.
The original pod still works fine!!!

Some of the new pods (but not all) come with a small piece of "peel off" plastic over the contacts. Check and make sure the pod is seated properly.

I’ll check again, but I fiddled with those quite a bit and didn’t notice anything plastic on them at all.
Update: no plastic to be found. Metal is completely exposed and looks identical to functioning pod.

Another thing to check is that the contacts (on the pod and the mod) are dry. Sometimes a little condensation will sneak in there.
That was one of my first checks, no dice. I’ve tried cleaning them off as well and making sure that the metal contacts weren’t damaged/out of place somehow. I turned off replay and tried again- nothing, just blinking. It’s so so strange and not one other person has said they’ve had this issue.
