Here is is showing near 40 watts

Its not just about being tight, thats easy to do. Its also about being a 'good' MTL vape.I don't understand why people think it isn't tight enough. You can turn the airflow and have it totally closed off
I don't understand why people think it isn't tight enough. You can turn the airflow and have it totally closed off (slot facing the fill port). You can not suck anything though it period. You can't get any tighter than that. And you can adjust it totally closed to wide open or anything in between.
And Phil thinks it is suppose to put out 40 watts. No, it is supposed to put out 30 watts with a 40 watt boost. It even states this on page 3 of the manual. And since Phil didn't get one, he could of checked the website.![]()
That depends how you define a good MTL vape. I also vape MTL and DTL. And it is a good MTL to me. Heck I recently ordered a Vapefly Galaxies RDTA. Which every reviewer I've seen says it is one of the best RDA/RTA MTL to date including flavor. Yet there isn't a dome inside either and the chamber is tons larger than the Orion pod. Even PBusardo claims he thinks they nailed it (Aug 8, 2018). And Vapefly didn't send him a manual with that one either. But no thumbs down there. Its not just about being tight, thats easy to do. Its also about being a 'good' MTL vape.
I have the Galaxies RDTA, nice atty, but i dont vape it MTL mode..Heck I recently ordered a Vapefly Galaxies RDTA.
What mode do you vape it in? And is the flavor as good as they say?I have the Galaxies RDTA, nice atty, but i dont vape it MTL mode..![]()
Yeah a sort of dome really isn't really a dome considering the chimney is below the dome.Oh and it does have a condensing dome of sorts.
I get your point, but- for me, I'd LOVE to have this as a rebuildable. Because:
1) size - just about impossible to get this size in anything, and I only use small mods & small lightweight tanks (pretty exclusively doggies right now. If you want DNA, you just can't get this small. I carried a pack of smokes around for 45 years and even that was too big. I have 0 interest in carrying something that approximates a brick in my pocket, no matter how great it vapes.
2) quality with size - LV is well known for quality products, unlike other choices in small mods or pods.
3) DNA Go with replay - I've wanted to try this, but won't be buying anything the size of say, a Therion, or even a Mirage. I use DNA75 in a SBody Macro (and even smaller internal battery mods, and won't increase in size even to an HCigar.
4) Flexiblility - so you don't have infinite choices in wattage with this, but with a rebuildable, you could really tweak your vape with different coil materials & ohmage- even wicking material for someone like me that would like to vape all VG.
Anyway, your point is partly valid, but sounds pretty dismissive based on the assumption that rebuilding can only be about cost. While it's not all about cost for me (but probably is for many), if they made an accessible area to replace the coil and rewick, I'd have already bought more than one of these. It just sounds like you're assuming the only reason people would want to rebuild is relating to cost, and for me, it isn't.
Does this mean you like the Orion?Which colour should i get next, im thinking gold abba?
No wait, gold carbon..
Fully open. Excellent flavour and vape quality is good too, very smooth. What mode do you vape it in? And is the flavor as good as they say?
Yes that is when my 4 pods burned out. Only after refilling to the top. Then the coil is flooded and the poor DNA Go is using the boost and the Replay warmth, boosts the wattage to try to get the coil up to temperature. Which in turn causes the wicking to burn.I took a look at the way I fill the pods and just realized that I leave about 1/8 of an inch space, never fill to the top. That may account in some way to not "flooding " the coil for the first few puffs. That was related to what @BillW50 was saying about the coil burning after a refill.
