Can't believe it. Went down to the beach yesterday "Sunday" and lost my Tornado8-o. It must have fallen out my pocket into the sand while playing with my Grand children. Searched for an hour but it's gone forever:(
Ended up with the need to buy a packet of cigs. Then throughout the day, i realized just how much i was missing vaping. Lucky i have enough spares to make up another unit when i got back home but only one battery.

Now searching for another new unit but can't make up my mind. Will it be another Tornado, or a mod. Quite fancy something with a bottle feed. MUST have a good battery duration, my Tornado vaped for about 2 hours, would like something that last much longer. I also like the??? I think it's called a GG, will need to look that one up.
Just so many on here to choose from, where do i start? What will i buy?

Sorry to hear you lost your Tornado Mike :(

I've got a GG Grant that I've been using daily for almost a year. At some point I'm going to treat myself to a GGTS - it takes just about every battery available & you can get up to 2 days use before recharging when using the 18650 batt. For more info on the GG range (including Imeo's Auto Feed System), check out the GG subforum :-

Sorry to hear about your Tornado Mike!!

How about the Ego? I get 6-8 hours out of the battery and I'm a chain-vaper. I have the GG Slim and it's beautiful, but keep in mind that it takes batteries. You DO have to order them and the chargers separately.

Best of luck!! :)

Isn't the EGO the same as the TORNADO which i have already got and can only get 2 hours sometimes plus a bit more, out of the batteries.

To be honest with you Mike, I was thinking the same thing. You SHOULD be getting at LEAST 4-6 hours from either battery!! I AM a chain vaper and I DO get at least 6 hours!! :)

Strange..

Hi Domino38.
The most i have ever got from my Tornado from new, with a fully charged batt, is near 3 hours, 2.15 maybe 2.50 if i relax a bit, is normal for me.
Pity really because i do like the unit, a nice piece of kit that vapes real good, especially with the LR Atty fitted and cheap to buy.
The reason i purchased the Tornado in the first place, i was told and read reviews that it would vape 6-8 hours a day. I guess this might happen for people who only take 2-3 puffs every 5 mins, but i hit it none stop, 4-5 drags a minute, none stop, all day. My days are 16-18 hours long...lol
The Tornado is great here at home, with batts constantly on charge, but no good out on 10 hour + fishing trips.
I fully recommend the Tornado or Ego for the lighter vape user, or someone that can put it down between vapes, but not for someone like me that abuse the use....LOL.

This is why I'm thinking a mod could be better.

Nope, never been a "lighter vaper user". My eGo is rarely out of my hand and I vape constantly all day. For what they cost, your Tornado (eGo copy) should have worked sooo much better. Sorry.

I think from all the reviews you are right, probably got a couple of lazy batts, but seems odd that they are both the same. I suppose it could be the charger. Maybe i will check it out.

Trust me, when I say I'm a CHAIN VAPER that's just what I mean. I usually go through about 5ml of liquid a day and if I could vape in the shower, I would. I still get at LEAST 6 hours from my Ego. I think there was something 'up' with your Tornado kit. Can you contact your vendor?

The tornado is the same as an Ego but you must have had a bad battery. I heard a lot about things like that with the Tornado maybe they just look the same but not the perfected version from Janty. I bout mine from Janty because of the longer warranty and my battery lasts at the lest 7 hours with constant vaping. No if only the cartridge did. I find myself constantly pulling out my smoke tip or kr808d-1 because of not having to refill. I have the adaptor but the ego seems to make the carto leak whereas I get a perfect hit everytime with my smoketip battery.
