Lots of vapor with minimal throat hit?

As posted in the New Member Forum, I'm trying to get a setup to emulate a hookah/arguily/shisha.

I first tried 0mg liquid. It tasted nice, but the vapor feels like, and I don't feel it when I inhale it at all. I ordered some local 18mg stuff, and the throat hit is way too heavy. I have to smoke it like a cigarette, otherwise I'll be coughing up a lung. I have some 12mg 100% VG stuff on the way, but I have a feeling that will be too strong as well.

How would 6mg 100% VG stuff fare? Think it would be dense/sweet, with a minor amount of throat hit? Ideally I'd like to be able to take a lungfull using an open draw without too much irritation. Think that's achievable?

Maybe I should try 0mg 100% VG as well...

ya pretty much sounds like you already know the solution. the less PG and the less nicotine, the less throat hit. also certain flavors provide TH, like cinnamon red hots or certain menthol/mint type flavors, so avoid those.

Nic = nicotine and throat hit
PG enhances throat hit and flavor
VG mutes throat hit and flavor but adds vapor

Also keep in mind, that depending on your set up as to how airy the draw is the more air that you get with it the smoother it seems to be. So you might want to look into something you can either make the air hole bigger on, or already has a better air flow.

Also note that dripping can enhance throat hit. Tanks usually provide less. Except genesis types.

Depends on your set up. Go to DFW Vapors, and check out their desktop plug in, that thing can vape up to 11 volts.

Nicotine, PG level, voltage, and flavor additive all effect throat hit.
