They don't need to check every single post, they can just use the search option up top. Go to search thread and put in the winning number, and if someone posted it, it will show. They could have closed the thread but just not had a chance to announce a winner yet.
I use the search thread option so I don't duplicate my own or other people's numbers. When I go to choose numbers, I make sure they are in the right range, then I pick a number, go to search thread, and type it in. If no posts come up, it hasn't been chosen yet. If posts come up, that number has already been picked so I chose a new number.
V4L has done lotto threads and other contests many times. Sometimes, they can be a little slow when it comes to finishing up the contest and announcing a winner, but I'm sure that is because they are a busy company, with lots of orders, and not done purposely. I have found V4L to be a very generous company when it comes to contests, sales, and donations to a local meet. They usually donate stuff for the raffle, and for the christmas party, I believe it was them that paid for all the free food that everyone ate. I don't remember exactly but I think they spent 100s of dollars on that! lol.
I know it's hard to be patient, I also am eager to see who won, if anyone, for this current lottery thread, these lottery threads are so exciting, I am addicted to playing them in the hopes of winning a gift card and choosing a great prize of my own choice!! But I know they are just really busy and sometimes it takes a while for them to wrap these up. They will wrap it up though and update us, they always do!
