loud popping sound with kangertech

Hi guys, I just build my first kangertech RBA
0.5 ohms. Using the strawberry bubblegum juice with 60vg/40pg at 27 watts.
Somehow everything is fine so far, but it makes a huge popping sound which my OCC Has never made. Is it ok? Is it gonna explode or something? I saturated my wicks before vaping and after filling the juice, I left it standing for 10-15 mins

Did you check for hotspots before installing wick? It could be that your wick is too loose causing puddles of juice which crackle loudly. A more condensed wick helps with this. That said, my Kangers are notoriously for being loud.

popping is the rapid vaporization of the juice... try dropping the watts a tad.

When you build your coil for your RBA, you usually test fire it without a wick to see how the coil glows. It should glow from the center first and then follow towards the ends. A "hotspot" is where a part of the coil glows red instantly rather than a nice even heating.

You can take a small screwdriver and lightly "brush" across your coil until the hotspot is gone and your coil is glowing like you want.

It's your juice. I've been experiencing the same thing with the RBA.
With lower quality juices, at first it makes a loud popping sound.
When I switch to premium juice that went away.

Hi guys I have encountered yet another problem with it.
I've been encountering leaking recently and it didn't really bother me much. But it got more severe each day and today it hit me hard, from a small droplet leak to a fulltank leak. I've make sure I fastened everything tight in its place, but it just seems everything leaked out and I didn't realise it until half the tank's juice is empty. Fortunately my battery wasn't affected by it but I'm worried about my mod, does your RBA have anything to do with leaking? I can't find any more possible way to explain the leaks. Leaks are mostly coming out from the airholes. Am I putting insufficient cotton to block the 2 holes at the sides of my RBA? Or smth? Hope someone would help me out wen this severe problem

is it V1 or V2? Either way make sure your cotton is covering the juice holes, don't have to jam it in there but at least covering them.

If your RBA has 2 slits on the RBA deck or does it have 2 holes on the side of the chimney. You have to wick each version differently.

It should be version 2, I can't get the 2 O rings off.
