Old daddy... just hanging in there like he's waiting for something. Or someone. Still eating little bits, but not enough to stay alive.
I haven't seen it, but I think you mentioned that last year. When I was a kid, there was one that lived outside my window for a while. It made me nuts when I went to bed. I can't imagine as many as you must have.
I guess he's waiting for you to come back, since so much other family is there now.
