VG.....I have a choice with ordering replacement coil heads....1.8 ohm or 2.1 ohm. Which should I go with...I am leaning toward the 2.1 ohm so I do not get any burnt taste....what do you think? Please and thank you.

I don't know that it should matter. The Cool Fire 1 is supposed to put out 8.5W, no matter what the Ohms are.

For 1.8Ω @ 8.5W, the Cool Fire should put out 3.9V.
For 2.1Ω @ 8.5W, the Cool Fire should put out 4.2V.

This is how a Wattage device works. It changes the Voltage for you, depending on the Ohms.

For the 1.7Ω ARO Ribbon Heads, with 1.7Ω @ 8.5W, the Cool Fire should put out 3.8V.
Do you still have any regular Heads for the ARO? If you do, try them on the Cool Fire.

If you're thinking 2.1Ω, then try that. Or maybe get some of each, so you'll know which one you like better. I understand wanting 2.1Ω since the 1.7Ω Ribbon Heads on the ARO taste burnt, but it could also be something about the Ribbon. There are too many variables to make a decision without trying both 1.8Ω and 2.1Ω. Sorry.

Well, with all that natural gas....they might use them all. But probably does not smell any worse than what hubs does to our bedroom in the mornings....I keep natural orange spray in there...and I go through a can every month.

I am leaning towards the small one because the more top heavy my p.v. is, the more likely I will knock it over....as I am prone to do a lot. Clumsy could have been my middle name if my mom had given me a middle name...which she did not.

I will look at both of them. Vapor Beast is the cheapest for the tanks...and free shipping. They are not the cheapest for the replacement heads, but with the free shipping, it is still the best deal.

My middle sister doesn't have a middle name, either. She always wondered why everyone else got one, but not her.


They both probably weigh about the same, but the Aspire ET-S Glass may be a little taller.

Thanks....that is what I was thinking. It comes with 1.8 ohms so I will order 2.1 and see which I like best. Yes, I have some originals left, and I will try them soon. I am thinking maybe it is the ribbon coils as I even get a burnt taste with them even with my old egos...but only with some of them! I am thinking quality control is not the best!

So yes, the Aspire ET-S Glass is heavier, but not by a lot. 42g vs. 36g. Or 1.48151 ounces vs. 1.26986 ounces. But the Aspire Mini Vivi nova-S Glass is a bit Taller!

Wait, it's only 0.21 inches taller. So they are both about the same height, diameter, and weight.


I'd get the Aspire ET-S Glass.

I just put an original coil head (not ribbon) on my Cool Fire and it is working very well. So....yes it probably is some bad ribbon heads...but after researching, I do want to try the Aspires. One can never have too many vaping supplies....right?
