Good Night, Dearest.

I did. I had some trouble activating but finally got it to go through.... 144 threats found. Looks like Kapersky wasn't doing a good job.

Any of them much worse than cookies?

Never heard of that one.

Kapersky is about as popular as Norton and McAfee, and equally as poor. The only good Norton products are Business/Enterprise high-dollar products (and I do mean high-dollar), but the business Servers, Routers, and Switches do more protection than Norton does.

Does just as good as Zone Alarm did.

Begin rant...

People use paid products like Kapersky, Norton, McAfee, and Zone Alarm, and think it's doing a great job because they don't see infections, and the computer seems to be working OK. But that doesn't mean that the computer isn't infected and even badly compromised. There's really no way that a Free version can do what a paid version does. And the effectiveness of paid versions is relative.

End rant.
