Working, cooking, playing, napping. And I have to leave soon. Oh well. I'll be back later this evening. But sometimes I stay and visit with Joan after everyone is gone. She's by herself now, and likes having me to talk to. I'm not family, so she can say things she might not say to them, and I have a different perspective. She is my friend and I support her, where she likely has to be the one doing the supporting with everyone else. She's a dear, sweet friend and I've know her for about 15 years.

Sorry to be so late with response, Dale.....neighbor came and got me for some yard advice.

Yes.....lemon with a lemony cream cheese filling. So easy, I could not believe it....a lemon cake mix, an egg, oil, couple of lemons, sugar, and cream cheese. They actually turned out very good....and took about 10 minutes work time. My kind of dessert!

Had a really dumb dog once who stole a lemon bar from one of the kids ... thought the poor thing was going to die before she stopped trying to get it down

I worked outside for several hours today. Swept and blew off the screened porch, blew off the other porch and patio, then used the power washer on the screened porch (including screens, walls, windows, stuff in the porch, and floors). Hubs cleaned up some brush and burned it, mowed the yard, and did some pruning.

We have both decided we are getting too old for this crap We are exhausted!!
