Good evening Beach (((hunks 'n dolls))).
Just a flyby for now. So busy and have company.
Just wanted to let you know that I'm okay ... not to worry at all. I wasn't going to post, b/c I don't have time ... but then I found that the weather.com channel is blaring with our sad state here (with photos) in North County San Diego. We're on fire!
I'm not concerned for my home and self b/c I'm a good 5 miles from the closest fire on Pendleton Marine Base. Shux, they're not gonna let Pendleton burn with the tons of explosives there, so I think we're safe on that one. The other 5 five fires are at least 8 miles away, so no immediate problem there either. Really, we're fine. DD is a little freaked out, but she's easily entertained.
The problem is that we don't really have any fresh air - mostly just smoke, and so many are without electricity, so I'm posting now in case mine goes out too. Our SD utility company shut off all gas and elec. in select areas only for a precaution.
I've got a full tank of gas, cash in my purse, several gallons of water and a Britta pitcher. Candles, oil lamps and matches set out all over the house. I just feel so sorry for all the firefighters b/c it's been a little toasty here at 96 deg. Most of us in SoCal don't have AC ... we use ceiling fans since it rarely gets at hot as it's been.
So, don't freak if SD burns down, we'll just all go jump into the surf
- it's only a quarter mile from me.

I know that there are some that do, but most ride on the back. I only know of one, personally, who owns her own bike. She has a nice Harley.

I won an 801C Manual Battery e-cig kit in a contest last May and gave it to Lisa. Two batteries and several refillable cartridges. These were taken the night I gave it to her. Lisa is now married to the owner of a bar I used to go to. We were in that bar. She was trying to quit cigarettes by using Blu, but having a very hard time of it. When I let her try mine, she said that Blu tasted like metal compared to mine. This kit was cig-alikes, but it was much better than Blu.
Anyway, Shannon rides a Harley.
I know a few gals who owns motorcycle. One is my niece.
I used to go to a Harley Biker bar, after K and I broke up. Of all the women that went there, only two owned a bike, and Shannon was the only one I knew. This was a different bar than the one in the pictures. I guess those women are few and far between here.

Quiet night in here, I guess. Too early for Tink or for Sun's late (or very early) appearance.
I'm heading to bed to read and then sleep without being interrupted by snoring. It's amazing how good you feel when you get good, solid sleep. I hope you all experience the same.
