If I disappear, it's b/c my power went out. And I'll catch up to y'all later.

We’re not doing very well at the moment. The Santa Ana winds are really ripping, so all the fires that were partially contained have spread.

The Tomahawk Fire (by me) on Pendleton MB started in Fallbrook near the US Naval Weapons Storage Supply before it spread to the MB. 6,000 of their 9,000 acres have been burned before it spread to the MB.

All 9 fires are being investigated for arson b/c they all broke out at about the same time.

Yesterday LegoLand was threatened, but it’s still standing.

Today it’s the Cal State University that’s threatened and has been evacuated.

For our interstate freeways, I-5 is open, I-15 is closed.

The 97/98 deg weather doesn’t help – it’s supposed to drop down to the 70’s by next week.

That is horrible. I can not fathom why anyone would do such a thing.

Hi VG ... sorry I missed this. If I have to evacuate, it will be tonight, but I doubt that I will.

The problem is the 80mph winds ... the fires are having to mostly be fought on ground. When there's no winds, then they can send all the air tankers and helicoptors up. I think they're using the bambi baskets on the coptors.

Hi Pepper! I am scheduled next Friday ( yay!) I am out on medical leave from work, it got to the point I physically could not make the drive to work, too weak I am thankful thow, a lot of people are heading to surgery for a lot worse conditions so I am all good

that's beautiful to hear. Is it gallbladder surgery? If it is, it ain't no biggie (of course, I'm not the one having surgery). My sister had that procedure and they made a small incision, snipped it, and out it came.
