That "Controlling?" thread by 5CardStud got stupid fast! I'm not surprised it was closed. People should know better than to 1.) Start a thread in such a manner, and 2.) Talk politics at all. It's always going to get ugly. In most cases, no matter what you say, someone will have an opposing position. If he wanted to talk e-cigs, he should have left the political party lines out of it. Then he says he just did it for personal amusement. But I did get a couple of good links to videos from it. I watched one, but the other is 1:25:17 long, so if I can stay awake though it, I'll watch it later.

Oh yeah...politics, religion, guns and abortion. The big four! People get all HOT on those subjects. I'm kind of a centrist so...I have a tough time with most "debates." But...some people just love all that.
Centrist is a position. I have my passions, and also things I don't feel as strongly about, among those four, but discussing them in a forum isn't the place to do it. My biggest problem anymore is finding a candidate (of any affiliation) that feels the same as I do on the things I'm passionate about. Then, you have to trust that he/she will maintain those positions once in office, which seems rare anymore. I'm quite disheartened with the whole situation.
