Hi VG!:)

Hi OB!:)

VG, I noticed LA recently got a weather beating - had did you fare thru it?

And, OMG, OB ... you live in Ohio! I heard on the weather station that Ohio really got a brutal beating.

Hope all the nasty weather is gone for a good long while.

I've thought of you ALL b/c I usually try to keep an eye on the weather since it's been so tremendous the last coupla yrs.

Where fine here in Ohlo thanks for asking. I live in the south west part. The worst that could happen is some remodeled trailer parks :)

I'm in Central LA (Alexandria), and it really hasn't been bad here. Thanks for asking. I guess all the fires that were around you are out now. How did you fare through all of that?

Pool is great. My favorite thing during this time of year. Would be my favorite thing all year around if the weather cooperated!!!!

I dream of an indoor heated pool... with a diving board. I'd love it even more with a higher board, like 5 feet maybe, and even a high dive. I loved that stuff every time I could do it.

Gone With The Wind must be read. In fact, I've read it several times. Of course I tend to skip the boring parts. :)

Doing fine. Sort of busy around here too. We got three big summer projects to do. Hopefully we get a couple of them done!!!

Okay, I'll try to struggle thru it. I'm at the part where Rhett brought Scarlett a $2000 beautiful green hat. Yeah, my mom used to read it over and over.

Sea don`t over do your self beautiful :)

Thank you OB ... My tomatoes are about as big as a plum right now, but still green. The rest of my small garded and a few herbs are happily growing everyday. The garden's no big deal b/c we can grow year-round here. I just haven't put one in for a while.

Gone With the Wind on Audio, huh? I think I'll wait for the movie.

You certainly have lots of fruit growing. I had a tiny Satsuma tree that would make about 80 Satsumas. The branches would touch the ground, like yours. :D

There are TONS of books on audio if you just search uTube for "audiobook." In fact when I read my bible every year, I listen to the Torah audio b/c it's so boring to get thru.

I try to watch a couple of uTube movies a month but dont always get around to it ... too much other stuff I have to do before my head hits the pillow.

Not sure what satsumas are - must be a "Southern" thing ... like okra is. I know what a fig is, though.:)

Sea,

I have this sized in 200x200. I think I made it for you as an avatar, if you like it. I've had it for a while, and may have posted it before...

Remember the part where she came down the stairs, wearing that green dress made from curtains, with a curtain rod as a shoulder piece?

Oh, wait... that was Carol Burnett.

A Satsuma is in the Orange family, something like a Tangerine. :)

I was surrounded by fires, but once the Santa Ana winds died down, they spread slower. I was shocked that 6000 acres of the Naval Weapons Storage wasn't immediately put out. It's the largest weapons stash in the West. I think they store all the baddies underground, though. I believe they did move some aircraft from both bases til the fires died down.

Since I'm so close to the beach, the wind always blows from the west until the evening, then there's just a gentle breeze that grows from the east. We don't have a "fire harzard season" anymore. They say that b/c of our drought, we are a fire hazard 365 days a year now.

Off to watch a movie with DH and chill for a bit.

CULz

CULz too jj - enjoy ur movie. I always admire ppl who can sit still long enuff to watch a whole movie in one sitting.:)
