Oh, no. What is wrong?:blink::blink: Meggers....Tink is home if you need her. :)

Oh no!!! What's wrong?? :(

 Last Thursday this giant spot showed up on my leg on the side of my knee. It was all red and purple and swollen. It didn't look like a bruise but it made my knee all stiff and was extremely sensitive to touch. I...I had my suspicion as to what it might be but all the computer images didn't look like it. I been bitten by the DEADLY brown recluse spider!... Wait! Tha...that's not funny.

The doc said, "Well...it'll probably heal ok and if it doesn't give me a call and a surgeon can just cut that area out." I love my doctor. He's so...whatthe.....ever you'll live kind of guy. :D

One more thing...VG, could you please research innokin Coolfire1 and see if that is something I would like. I have researched them pretty extensively, and the only thing that concerns me is the fixed wattage is at 8.....and my coils are 1.7ohms. That maybe a little too high for them...what do you think? I do like the fact that they are something you can attach your atty to with no fiddling. And a little more oomp than a straight 3.7 volt. I am still waiting for a self adjusting voltage/wattage p.v. that adjusts itself to whatever you attach. Simplistic...yeah!!

Please and thank you. :)

IMHO, a VW device would be that simplistic device. You could set it to a particular Wattage and leave it there. No matter what Ohm carto, tank, head, or whatever you connect, you would get a very similar vape experience. But with VW, you could still make adjustments.

The Innokin Cool Fire is a 18350 microprocessor-controlled personal vaporizer with a constant output of 8.5W.

8.5W with a 1.6Ω coil = 3.7V
8.5W with a 1.7Ω coil = 3.8V <-- Your coils as stated
8.5W with a 1.8Ω coil = 3.9V

Compared to some various Voltages in fixed steps . . .

3.3V on 1.7Ω = x6.4W
3.5V on 1.7Ω = x7.2W
3.7V on 1.7Ω = x8.0W <-- Your 18650 Epower
3.8V on 1.7Ω = x8.5W <-- Cool Fire 1
3.9V on 1.7Ω = x8.9W
4.0V on 1.7Ω = x9.4W
4.2V on 1.7Ω = 10.4W
4.4V on 1.7Ω = 11.4W

So this Cool Fire would be a little hotter than 3.7V, provided the coil is actually 1.7Ω. These calculations were done mathematically with 1.7Ω. The Cool Fire will adjust its output Voltage to whatever Voltage is needed to supply 8.5W. The microprocessor does this. That's how VW works, even though it's a Fixed Wattage in this application.

The Cool Fire 1 is fixed at 8.5 Watts, so if you don't like that, there is no changing it because there are no adjustments available. If you do like it, then it's as simple as it gets, as there are no settings menus to get lost in. There's nothing but a Fire button.

If you are interested, there is also an 18650 battery extension tube available for it . . .

18650 Adapter Tube - Innokin Cool Fire I noticed it for $4.99 at MVS.

That's horrible. I'm sorry to hear that, but from what little I know, there not much they can do except do surgery and cut it out. The Brown Recluse has a terrible poison, and it usually leaves craters. I hope it isn't that bad.

 Well...I think I probably won't need to have it cut out. It's already been four days and it hasn't so much as blistered. The skin feels funny but isn't showing any signs of being dead. I'm not very reactionary to venom's so it might just be ok. Yeah...if it starts ulcerating and the skin starts dropping off...I'll need to have it cut out. But so far, and since it's already been four days, the doc says it may just heal up. :D

I wish you the best with that. You're right, not everyone has such a harsh reaction to it. I hope you're one of the lucky ones. :thumb:

    Hello Beach!!! :)

I didn't read back, so I hope you are all doing well. Meggers, I hope that spider bite is healing well...those Brown Recluse Spiders can be horrible bites, heal soon :thumb:

    Happy Monday folks :D

Hi Dale :) It's nice to see you too!! I hope to be able to spend more time on here in a couple of weeks, hopefully I can catch up and hang out more then.

It's always good to see you, no matter how long you can stay. Tink is home today, so she'll be thrilled. :D
