Evening, Beachers.....

Tink....hope they get to the bottom of MIL's problem, but good news she does not have to have a stent.

And the topic tonight is cleaning???? With bleach?? I never use bleach. Bleach is way too toxic for my preference. White vinegar all the way baby, with a little Simple Green or Watkins thrown in for extra power.

I know you all were thinking...."wonder what Glam uses"?

But it might be reminiscent of days gone by, when we had to use vinegar to color Easter Eggs.

Funny that you can use it to color Easter Eggs, and Discolor your bathroom.

I so can't believe what he did to himself and he was such a cute kid.

Guess I should give up the bleach.

Can bleach damage laminate flooring?

Yes. Even soap-based cleaners can damage laminate flooring. If you do need to clean laminate, use either a laminate-specific cleaner or a weak vinegar solution (4 parts water to 1 part vinegar) and dry the wet areas ASAP after mopping. If possible, use a spray bottle and wipe as you go.

It worked great today! Maybe a gallon of water to 3 squirts soap and a cup of bleach. If you get your stuff clean and then use it regularly it is easier to keep up. I had to use a razor blade to scrape hard water deposits off the privacy block window. Even CLR wouldn't touch that!

I have never found CLR to be good at cleaning anything!

Just peeking in again and catching up :D

jj....I have lots of laminate floors.....they do not like to be wet. You can buy special spray for laminate floors...spray and wipe immediately. I used to use window cleaner...the kind that is alcohol based because it evaporates and dries quickly.

I'll let you know how that O cedar mop does.

I guess bleach is okay on linoleum!!!

WRONG!!! That's from using Vinegar and Pinching his Nose!!! :pervy:

But if you give up on bleach, you could end up with a Michael Jackson nose, too!
