Movie's never seem to quite measure up
I was sooooo disappointed with the movie The Hunger Games
Most of the movies of Stephen Kings books did not measure up at all. Most were disappointments. The Green Mile was the only one that did not disappoint.

That's an unfortunate truth. Most movies don't measure up, and the directors take creative license.

Sun, if you love Michener (I do), and historical novels..... try John Jakes. He's from my home town. Start with The Bastige (edited for ECF censors). BTW, Poland is my favorite Michener title.
I also love anything Tom Wolfe.
Also, Phillippa Gregory - Anglo-centric historical fiction.

Glam just checked my external hard drive and I have most of those by Nelson Demille on it
Be sure to read the ones with John Corey in them....but they are all good. Up Country was really good...about a Vietnam Vet who is sent back to Vietnam years later to investigate an incident...very suspenseful but that is not a John Corey book.That's not your new girl from New York?!!!

DD and I read them at the same time. Sort of like Twilight.
Anyone notice how we don't have near as many guests as we used to at da beach? I think glam needs to start showing some more skin and that'll bring 'em back.
