Sun does she live in a town with a bus system?

I know that is a PITA but it would work. My sis found this out after too many DUIs

Naw - too small for buses. Her son will take her some and my brother and her girlfriend offered but that will wear thin fast.

Meds did seem to be working but for the side effects. She said she noticed herself having little ones where her body would freeze and she couldn't speak.

That has to be horrible.

She was scared. I guess after the second one she went to a neurologist who did all kinds of scans but found nothing. Sis thought she was having mini-strokes but nothing wrong could be found.

They haven't taken her license and she didn't hit anything. It is noted in hospital records now though so I don't know if the state will temporarily revoke her license or what. She will be scrambling for rides to/from work when she returns next week. This is not the first time this has happened to her and she had been on some medication that was exhausting her. The doctor had changed it to something else and she was actually on her way from work to the grocery to pick up the new meds.

I hope the new meds work better w/o side effects!

Not that she knows of. Both brother and girlfriend live about 10 minutes away. If things get tight I will have to go up there and be chauffeur.

Me either. I'm so glad it didn't happen on the interstate with her going 75 miles/hr. She would have been killed.

I think she was planning on working one more year. I don't know how long it will be before she is allowed to drive. I would imagine several months to make sure it didn't happen anymore.

Me too, but it gets old having to get up early or quit what you are doing to go get someone from work. Plus they would have to meet up with her as they can't get into the plant to the building where she works. They apparently had another "incident" and security levels are up.

Oh great, yet another obstacle. Maybe the bosses can set something up.

Maybe she can arrange to have security bring her from her office to the gate. The other way in the morning.

That would be nice but I don't think it's a possibility. They're too busy guarding the gates lol. There is an internal taxi but she might have to wait up to 30 minutes for it. Hopefully she can get clearance for whomever is going to take her and hopefully they will let them through. I only had clearance for a one time visit many years ago.
