I love scones too....in fact if I am in a bakery, that is usually the first thing I pick out. Cherry scones are my favorite.

Hope you all are having a good day.....granddaughter decided to not get her hair layered.....she has the most beautiful hair....long, shiny and black as coal. Her grandfather (my first husband) was 1/4 Cherokee and it showed up in her. I gently disagreed with her when she said she was going to get it layered...and she listened. (I think she listened because getting a hair cut would have meant leaving her new video game.)

Cherry is always my favorite too; cherry scones, cherry tarts, cherry pie, even cherry WW cake with the angel food cake mix. Easy cake: Either get one 15 oz crushed pineapple or any 20 oz flavor Comstock pie filling and mix with one box of angel food cake mix. Spread in lightly sprayed pan and bake at 350 for 20 minutes. Let cool slightly and gobble.

Good mornng, Beachers.

I am dragging this morning....up late with granddaughter watching "Monsters and Mysteries in America" on t.v. There are some Creatures from the Black Lagoon running around this country. One in Indiana and one in the Carolinas (keep an eye out, Tink:D)

Don't worry…. I think my deer-in-rut urine odor protects me from those creatures





Afternoon beachmates I'm off for the next three nights - YES!! Wish my house didn't need cleaning again I don't have any plans except a hair appointment tomorrow afternoon and going out with our friends on Saturday.

Good naps but I kept getting interrupted by leg cramps down the front of my shin, ankle, and top of foot. Never had them them there before but it wasn't fun.

House is all clean, floors vacuumed and mopped. I gave the cats their treats on the kitchen floor and retreated to the computer hutch so scaredy-cat Farah would come get her share. Unfortunately I left the tin of treats on the kitchen counter. Before I could get them put away, Bela knocked over the whole thing scattering two mega size bags across the floor. While I was cursing and trying to scoop them up he was eating as fast as he could. Pig. He then went and threw up in the foyer and dining room.

Now I remember one of the downsides of having a pet. Loved my puppy but there are a few things that I don't miss.
