Well, if you have a few left, you could just adjust the recipe to make those. I don't think you could screw this up, and it would be a good way of preserving what you have left.

I think this is the best recipe for refrigerator pickles/cucumbers I have ever eaten....I had it at a friend's house years ago, and I have been making it every year since. I took a medium sized bowl to the rehearsal dinner, and they were all eaten. I just keeping adding sliced cukes to the bowl when they get low.

jj snuck in here while I was typing this. Hi, jj.

Glam we used hooks on the pool deck to hang that lattice up. Did this because we store pool stuff under there---made it easy to remove lattice. :)

We put lattice around our raised deck...keeps the critters out and hides all the rock under there. He is replacing it because it is 10 years old, faded, and last winter's snow broke some of it. Small critters still get in there...we have seen some living under it in the winter....I do not mind. I would want someplace sheltered in Illinois' winters too.

We are getting ready to get more rain. WOOT!!

Hello, Beach Babes and Buddies. Happy Saturday.'s and :)'s appropriately.

I let it charge overnight and am vaping it now. Other than being heavier and worrying that my rings are going to scratch it I LOVE it! Nice in the hand! Thanks for the settings. That allowed me to not have to start at the lowest wattage. Right now I am vaping 8W/2.2ohm. No voltage is showing up so it may be that the dna chip needs a reset.

Hello, Dear Heart.

If it's still not working (no Voltage showing), them try some different Atties. That one may not be seating in the 510 well enough to make connection.

Good morning Sun, Beach

Hello, Teacup.

Good night, Beach Friends :)

Sleep well, Tink.

Good Morning, Beachers.

Putzing around this morning, then getting ready for the nuptials taking place at 3:30. Hope you all have a nice, relaxing, Saturday.

:D Nice pairs....I mean pears.

th

Nice pears. I was wondering why the bride was wearing a green dress.

Hello, Glam.

Enjoy your Nazarene/Knights of Columbus day. :D

I will be happy to Dale....it is delicious. My hubs loves it and it keeps for months. Hope you have a mandolin slicer, cause it takes 7 cups of cucumbers.....but of course, you could make half.

For all if anyone else is interested....this gets a Glam thumbs up....a tried and true recipe.

Be sure to turn it over in the bowl occasionally while steeping.

What is the Mandolin for?

You slice it up and put it in for Crunchy Bits?

Oh ... fair to middlin' I guess, dreading getting out in the heat this evening to go to DD's for another party
At least it should be the last one until September.

The parties are indoors, aren't they?

For me, the worst part is getting the car cooled off with the A/C (I don't have a garage or carport cover), so I leave the door open for a few seconds while the A/C blows on high, and then just the window down for a few seconds, and it doesn't take long before the temp is OK to drive.

Yes & no, we eat inside but most of the time we're outside around the grill.
It take's us about 30 minutes to cross town to DD's place, my car does not cool off much the whole time. It's just that darn hot and my poor car is just so so old :(

Oh. I guess you could wear loose fitting cottons. How about your jammies?

Mine is a '95 Cougar, but it's in pretty good shape, and the A/C works well. A car turns Classic at 25 years, or they used to, so in about 6 years I'll have a Classic. Not a '57 Chevy, but hey. I had a '74 Firebird that I wish I never got rid of.
