I hope you don't mind that post. I'm just trying to be helpful.

I understand and am appreciative....and this is not my first rodeo with kittens....just with wild kittens. And we will proceed slowly....I know it will take a while to get them used to us and this house. They are still skittish. And when they have the run of the house, they will have plenty of places to hide. Our old girl always ran to the basement and got under the poker table when she was scared. And the doorbell always sent her down there.

The last pair of shoes I bought was this summer, houseshoes!!

I'm glad I didn't offend. I know you might get tired of seeing this stuff, but like you say, wild kittens are different.

Cadeau used to hide from the doorbell and anyone strange in the house, but she's starting to greet customers now. I think that's so cool, and I was so proud of her this last time. A cat-lover female customer/friend came in and Cadeau came out to greet her.

I'm not a girl, of course, but I'm like the Princess and the Pea. I feel the tiniest things, like in my shoes or on the bed sheets, and they drive me batty. Does that make me a Prince? Maybe I'll make King some day. Tony already put me up for it. I'm just not big into anarchy.

Well DH has a new 32 inch flat screen TV now (our first flat screen);
he's rearranging the entire entertainment center tho'.

Naturally it doesn't fit the hole

Afternoon beachmates Have to head back to work tonight I am working Sun, Mon, and Tue (my normal sched for this week) and picked up a 3-11 on Thursday to help pay for the air conditioner.

Which, btw, is NOT working DH noticed Fri night that the display on the thermostat was blank. He bought a new thermostat, but that didn't work. Checked all breakers and switches. Not sure what's going on?? He isn't happy, to put it mildly!

LOL, Dale....part of my childhood was spent in Missouri.....we never wore shoes in the summer and the bottoms of our feet were just as tough as rubber shoe soles. Could run through those rocks and gravel beds like they were silk. Now, if I go outside barefoot, I'm like ouch, ouch, ouch.

Well, the Bears lost in overtime.....of course, Jay Cutler being true to form threw 3 interceptions, which is why they lost. And they just signed him to a 5 year $125 million dollar contract...so we get to watch interceptions for 5 more years. Talk about overpaid.....if people would not pay the high ticket prices, this would not happen. STOOPID, I tell ya!

Every article you will ever read on tvs, say to go larger than you think you need....so you did good. I bet he can make it fit.

Hi, Tink....sorry you are dealing with air conditioner problems, still. At least the weather is cooling down now....anyway it is here. Hope work is not too stressful since you are dealing with that.

I don't care for fruits. They can do their thing, as long as they leave me alone.

Really, about the only fruits I like are bananas and peaches. I can eat an apple or an orange now and then, but I like fruits better when cooked or baked in something. That's just how I roll.

May I please have some eggs and bacon now? About 5-6 eggs and lots of bacon! I'd take some grits and hash browns, too. When I have breakfast food, I like lots of it.

The first flat screen was 40+ inches. It's now in the spare bedroom. In the living room is a 50 inch screen.

You should have gotten a bigger one!
