And this brings up the question of "Why does any place buy meat from China?

Guess Chinese tv cameras caught people who work for a company who supplies McDonalds with products, using expired meat and picking up meat off the ground when it was dropped and still using it. McDonald's earnings are down....especially in China.

KFC and Taco Bell get meat from there too. Other places too but I didn't recognize the name.

I have no idea why so many grocery products come from China.....almost all seafood comes from China or Viet Nam or India or ?????? Why can't we buy USA sea food and fish??????
With everything that dumps into the Gulf of Mexico from the Mississippi River, the Gulf is about as nasty as anywhere else.
What gets me is when the U.S. ships chickens to another country to be process there so it can be sent back here.

I think some hot dogs have healthier ingredients than others, but seems like the tastiest are sometimes the worst ones.
My very favorite hot dogs are the ones at Sam's Club little cafe. They are Nathan's big fat dogs.....I love them!! Really good with sauerkraut.

Had a taste of one of those the last time there. They were handing out samples.
My favorite is Oscar Mayer all beef.
Funny you say this....I do not like gulf shrimp at all....they have a really weird chemical/iodine/icky taste to me. Maybe it is the Mississippi River causing that.
But I suspect preservatives put on them so they will not go bad so fast.
