Glad you got the day off. This will be an ongoing job for me. It usually is when this man calls me. Looks like this hard drive has gone bad, so I brought it home to see if I could recover any data from it. Dell is sending a replacement, but after ~2.5 years, there could be lots of things lost because they only backup documents. I'm pretty sure he will be going with a full-system backup plan now. Plus he has some things for me to do with new equipment that he hasn't had time to do for himself. All of this will be taking a few days. This man is the best customer I have.

Noooooo...people should eat the same thing everyday for long periods of time. The body lovesssssss regularity. Ya just got to make sure that what you're eating has a balance of the food groups. Plus...you never have to worry about what you're going to eat.

Yeah, that's usually the downside. My customers need to have a problem before they call. I don't have any who have made a scheduled maintenance program with me. That seems to be the mindset these days. If it works, don't fix it. But this computer was getting worse and worse over time, and the accountant never told her boss or called me. It had been pretty bad over the last month, but still no call. Most people don't get the concept of preventative maintenance, where I can also do a lot of cleanup to make things faster and keep them optimal. Of course, if a hard drive decides to poop the bed, there's not much to be done to prevent that, other than a good UPS (Battery Backup), and they have one on everything because the Power is so bad here. Full Computer Backups are needed to quickly recover from a hard drive going bad. I told him I'd get pricing on that, which will be more time there for me, setting it up.
