Yes. It took a lot of walking back and forth but we finally did. It was a horrific hike up and down a hilly, gravelled, clay access road to a fire tower in the pouring rain and lightning. On the way back it stopped raining and I finally just took my shirt off and rung it out. Thank you for the sweet holly branch.

Sorry about the bad weather. Seems like it usually rains for these events.

This morning, I lucked out and was able to buy two boxes of ammo. It's been hard to find lately.
I placed the boxes on the front seat and headed back home, but stopped at a gas station where a drop-dead gorgeous blonde in a short skirt was filling up her car at the next pump.
She glanced at the two boxes of ammo, bent over and leaned in my passenger window, and said in a sexy voice, "I'm a big believer in barter, old fella. Would you be interested in trading sex for ammo?"
I thought about it for a few seconds...... and asked,
"What kind of ammo 'ya got?"

LOL. What didn't I buy? I got home about 4, put all the groceries away, answered a couple of emails and texts...and then hubs came in. He said, "So, what did you buy for $117 at Caputos. LOL, he is looking for a credit to be put through on the the charge card, and he said he knew how much I spent before I even got them loaded into the trunk to come home! Guess I am going to have to find a sneakier way to spend his money.
