I could listen to about 10 seconds of that :facepalm:

I only made it through 5 seconds. :laugh:

You've been peeking in my closet. :sneaky: :laugh:

Seriously. It's always a shock when I tell people people that I don't have much Tigger stuff.

People people? What other kinds of people might you tell? :lol:

Night, Tink, Night, jj. It has been fun for me to get back here. My life has been pretty stressful last couple of days...I needed this relief.
And got a lot of that relief from you, VG. Thanks for the laughs.

And now, I will sign off the present beach....and go back in time to the past beach, and see what I missed.

See you all tomorrow. :wub::wub::wub::wub::wub:

Pleasant dreams.

That's fantastic that the therapist got back to you so quickly and with so much information! It's heartwarming to hear about people who go out of their way to help someone with no agenda of their own. Fabulous. I'm so thrilled you will be able to help your sister through this with such great support and help from everyone. She can do it. My hubby had brain surgery for a rare infection 3 years ago, during the surgery left him like a stroke victim unable to use his right hand, unable to walk, the right side of his face drooped down. The surgeon told him he would probably not be able to walk again, and may never talk normally or be able to use his right hand. It's not the same, I know, but what I mean to say is that although he had to teach himself to write left-handed and still writes left handed, he can use his right hand, he can walk, he talks normally now, and he went back to work 6 months after the surgery, he's a paramedic and it is very physical work. I don't know how old your sister is, but hubby was 55 when he went through that. He had to deal with issues while working, especially in the early days when he still was weak, and uncoordinated, but he's stubborn and he persisted.

Your sister sounds "stubborn" ;) in a good way, and that's exactly what she needs to be to push through. The fact that she has all of you rooting for her, working for her to find solutions to problems, will go a long way to helping her get as far as she can in her recovery. Whether it is a little or a lot, every step forward is a huge accomplishment!! {hugs}

Thanks, so much for this, Tami...and for sharing your heartwarming story about your hubs' road to recovery. There is always hope. :wub:

You're welcome Glam. Just take it one day at a time, relish the positive momentum like you are now, and accept the frustration. There will be frustrating times. Your sister will have them, you and others in your family will have them. It's normal, don't beat yourself up over them, but don't let them get to you either.

I guess Sun's modem didn't make it through the weekend :( We miss you Sun!!

Night beachmates :D

Looking forward to your return Sun.
