I was that grumpy kitty last night for sure. Had been working about 5 & 1/2 hours with no break. I had just taken a patient to recovery room and was trying to give report when the anesthesiologist came running up to me and said "we need to take this guy back (to the OR) right now or he is going to bleed to death. It was a drunk, non-English speaking guy who had somehow cut his arm at the bend (where the vessels are big). Man, I was p!ssed!! So we took him back there and got him started. As soon as the call person showed up, the -ologist told her to go give me a break immediately! LOL. He knew I had had enough of that night!

Really! Why can't people learn to cut themselves in more convenient places? :D

Is there a test for this? Or are you self diagnosed? :D

Hubs insults my sensory processing every morning when he goes to the bathroom. I must have it too!! 8-o8-o8-o

Tink,

Is this Sensory Processing Disorder the thing with long sleeves?

I hate winter clothes that bind on the wrists! But I can handle long sleeves OK otherwise.

People have diff issues with it. All of the senses can be involved. Mine is mostly 'tactile defensive' problems. Some ppl are really incapacitated with it.

You sound like you could def have some SPD going on too ;). I've researched it quite a bit. Not that I've found any "cure" but it does make me feel better to know I'm not the only 'crazy' one
