Well, no takers in the mouse traps....I put two out with cheese, and the little trap doors are still open. Maybe I need to change the bait.

I know....I had peanut butter in my home made trap....no takers there either. And since the bait has to go to the back of this trap I figured cheese would be easier to clean up. I usually take the lazy way when given a choice.
When the mouse runs to the back of this box, it tilts and releases the door, trapping the mouse inside....providing they go in it.

Dog sitting today....which amounts to being with one of the sweetest animals I have ever known. Her adopted brother is going to the doctor in Chicago so she is staying with me. I do love her, but inside dogs are a lot more work than a cat.
The problem with a dog is.......every time I give her a treat....I have to have one too.

Yep...if ya slept that long you did need it. DW worked Sunday, Wednesday and Friday this week. So she'll be tired all week. She has three a week. Might be three in a row or two and one or divided up spread throughout the week. She the "Charge" nurse and also makes out the schedule. I told her if I made out the schedule...I'd just do three in a row every week. But she likes to be fair and gives her people their choices first.
I'm sure the others appreciate her for it! But she should treat herself well too. Always looking out for everybody else, at your own expense, is not good. Of course, always looking out for yourself will cause mutiny
