EVERYONE has to serve in NY now...they say you can only get out of it if you are physically incapable or at least 72 years old...
I hope I'll get to see them all before I start working hateful hours again
Thanks for the update!I'm glad for a 6 year break...it used to only be 4 years. Since they will call you as soon as they can, it can be a giant pain in the neck...especially since I don't work a 9 to 5 job...That's not really all that far away

The lawyers, judge, and jurors get comfy chairs, but we were sitting in the courtroom waiting for voir dire. All of those seats are flat wooden benchesAnd why is it that you have to sit on a hard bench, while the defendant gets a nice cushy chair? How is that close to being right?

LOL....was slicing cucumbers---7 cups--until 6:30. This cucumber salad is delicious....with onions, green peppers, vinegar, sugar, salt, celery seeds and celery salt. You place in a large bowl and turn it over every few hours so it marinates well...this salad lasts for months in the refrigerator...I believe it is a form of refrigerator pickles.
And I pacified hubs several months ago...should last him a while longer.
