Morning and thanks, Dale. Just makes me more excited to get my kitties. I miss having a cat....tho I don't miss the yelling at me in the mornings to get up and the litter box scooping.
My friend tells me the shelter is going to put the brother and sister together over the weekend so they can get used to each other again. We are getting the kitties next week....they will have all shots and be micro chipped....then we will have to take them to get them neutered. The shelter decided they want to get them out of there so they decided to have us take them for neutering.
Hubs and I are both looking forward to having animals in the house again. And I hope they are mousers.
Glad to hear you are getting the babies soon but even MORE glad to hear you are not declawing them. As it is considered animal abuse and is illegal in so many other countries it makes me wonder why it is still allowed here. I hope you will watch this - especially the part about laser declawing. Laser declawing not only removes the claw but provides your cat with 4th degree burns on every toe done. Makes me want to throw up.
Could I suggest getting into the habit of trimming the kittens nails on a regular basis - every 3-4 weeks? Have your friend show you how. It is easy as pie. Squeeze and handle the kittens toes when you hold them and they will be used to it when you are trimming.

Sorry I was not here all day. I was up late looking for parts and must have set my alarm wrong, or didn't hear it. I woke up in time to get to my 3:00 hearing aid appointment at the V.A. I got the Starkey brand this time and I like them better so far. It seems that there are just some things that I'll have to get used to, because some things are the same as with the other set, but these have more features and I'm pretty sure the volume can be set a good bit higher than the others.
Sorry I missed Tink, Sun, and Sea. I'll back read in a little while. Just got home. Had a little glitch getting out and a quick errand before I could get back home.

As I'm sure you know, some cats take to a scratching post naturally, but some don't. When I have one that doesn't, I teach it by leading it (or carrying it) to the scratching post and I push its little claws out and make scratching motions on the post. Of course, I speak softly and sweetly to encourage them, and praise them when they get it. Treats are good, too. I have to do it a few times because they can be scared of what's happening sometimes, but they usually get it within a few times. I may have to repeat after a day or two, and a little down the road if I catch them or hear them scratching on something else, but they've always gotten it for me. It helps a lot to have multiple posts for them. The are some made that hang on a door knob. I do the same procedure to show them what it is.

I really don't mind looking for the parts, if you still want one. It's just that this box is so small inside, I need small switches. I found a perfect Vape Switch, and now I need a Master On/Off. I found a Rocker Switch that will work, but it's bigger than I'd like, so I'm still looking. I'd like to find a switch the same size and shape as the Vape Switch, but instead a Momentary push On, it needs to Latch in the On or Off position. I'll find it. I'm thinking of contacting Mouser and Digikey (distributors) and APEM (a manufacturer). I've already found most everything else.

Well, I did it....found the Aspire Mini Nautilus on sale for $20 and the BVCs for $10 a pack so I broke down and ordered...now I have spent my vaping wad for the year.
