I cross stitch. I have a big Bless this House and most of the rest have given away for gifts. I often make Christmas tree ornaments or refrigerator magnets. I've hooked rugs, braided blankets, and am adept at hemming, patching, and sewing on buttons. I sound like I am writing an advertisement for a 1940's housewife.

My grandmother knitted clothes for my Barbie. She had pants, a sweater, jacket, skirt, and knee high boots!

My grandmother knit many a women's skirt and jacket in her time...

My MIL use to do sweaters and it the awfullest colors!! And the awfullest mix of loud colors!
