yep been on a few in my life
I'm a bobber guy. I like motorcycles that are motorcycles without all the bullchit on them. People always putting big ole windshields, big ole bags everywhere, stereos, heated seats, fairings...they might just as well take a car! 
Yep...gonna a ride a motorcycle...ride a motorcycle. If you want to listen to music instead of the wind...take a car.
that would be fine if I was taking a wimpy ride to and from work
; however, if I am cruising across country I want the windshield and yes the bags. I had my cruiser and I needed that stuff. I never had a stereo, heated seats (but I didn't ride in the winter).that would be fine if I was taking a wimpy ride to and from work
Oh...I have a small windshield and small bags on mine right now cause I commute in all kinds of weather. I can't arrive at the office all muddy and wet. Now a trip across country? Noooooo...backpack and tent/bedroll is all I need. If I'm not going to work...the chit comes off! I just hate the look of all that stuff on a bike...always have.

Hoped to get here earlier but by the time that we got back, I did the pool thing for an hour, went through papers we gathered together, and ate our delivered pizza, it didn't happen. We made headway on the condo today though!!

I've never had a Bobber, but I've had several bikes. Three Hondas up to a 500, a Harley Electra Glide, and a Harley Dyna Super Glide. I don't have one now, but I think I'd like something between a 750 and a 900 next time. I loved the Electra Glide, but the Harleys are so heavy.

Oh yeah...that's a nice looking bike! True...I've never seen the need for anything over 1000cc. I guess if you and whoever is riding with you have a combined weight of 600lbs...the extra power might be nice on hills. Shoooooot...in 1970(or so)I rode a 650 Triumph Bonneville from Lawrence, Ks to San Francisco and back. I've never owned a bike over a 1000cc.
off to dinner. it's Italian tonight. I should be back before the game. idk.

Nooooo...a bobber is any stripped down bike. Bobbers are basic no frills bikes. Just the way I like em! Sure! This was on the last bike I owned. It was a Honda Shadow Aero. That's the bike I hit the deer on. It was a bike wash at the bar. She's one of the bartenders. You can click on it to make it bigger
