Imagine the water bill they have! You would have to put the lid down if going away....what if the mechanism got stuck and the toilet overflowed?
I could see Deuce doing this.....he is fascinated with water, I am sure he was the one who put the litter in the fountain....playing in it. I never turn on a faucet or flush a toilet that he is not right there. I sneak into the bathroom sometimes just so I can "go" in peace.

Laugh out loud!!!!!!!!! I loved the covering actions at the end. It is such an instinct with them....does not matter if there is anything there or not.Wonder what that little set up cost? Many years ago, we did have a cat that would pee in the toilet, but nothing solid....and he did not flush. He started doing it on his own....but he would tie up the toilet when the kids were getting ready for school, so they started locking him out of the bathroom. He would get on the toilet and just sit there for a long time before he went....and they got tired of waiting on him.

Cadeau always follows me into the bathroom. For some reason, that's where she is most loving. Maybe because she stayed in there when I first got her, and that's where we made friends. She gets on my lap and I can pet her like I cannot do anywhere else in the house. The odd thing about it is, that's also where we trim nails and put on Advantage for fleas, both of which she hates, but she hates trimming nails more. But she is quick to forgive me of those things, too.
She loves the water, too. She likes to get her paws wet. And when we play fetch with a wadded up paper ball, after a while she drops it in her water bowl, so she can try to get it out. She hasn't learned that this ruins it. She's one silly cat.
Kids! All they had to do was put him on the floor near the litter box.

They are all silly....each in their own way. That is why there are so many cat lovers.....so much quirkiness in them. Learning their personalities is part of the fun.
The litter box was downstairs, and the bathroom was upstairs. Easier just to put him out and lock the door. Kids always take the easy way out.![]()
Guess it is that time.....I am yawning, even tho I got a good night's sleep. Hope you sleep well tonight, VG.
Good night....and see you tomorrow. And good night to Dale, jj, and Tink if any of them wander back in.

Oh, I love my baby! She's the smartest cat (or pet of any kind) that I've ever had. Except maybe a baby squirrel I had. Cadeau is so much fun to play with, and so was Andy Nutcase. I named him Andy because I found him during Hurricane Andrew when I lived in NOLA, as I was helping someone mask all the windows before I evacuated up here. Nutcase, because he was so alive and Nutty. I took him everywhere with me. My mother lived here at the time. She's further north now.
Did you like Miss Piggy Chops?
Was NCIS a good one? (dumb question, right?)
Hey, jj.Before I go,....what are your plans? Grand Canyon tomorrow? And then home?
Grand Canyon for two days and then on home. We aren't going to get rushed about it. Stop when we want to see something or when the driving gets too much for DH.
