Yep! Better than yesterday. Had to put my dog down yesterday. Always a sad day. And that was without any sleep on Monday night. I had to lay of the floor and keep her company all night. She needed the comfort.
What sad news to come home to

Nothing new, really. Just working on the PC for Greg, trying to get it finished up.
I'm going out of town tomorrow, after an appointment at the V.A. It's a routine thing there, but the morning will be full of Lab and an X-Ray, with the appointment at 2:15. I'm going to northeast LA to spend Halloween with my mother and her guy. I've been doing that yearly for a while now, as Halloween is his birthday, and we both love the Halloween Holiday.

I misspoke. I'm actually getting ready to complete Greg's computer when I get back. I had to copy all his files from another computer he brought here for that, and I'm putting them on a USB Memory Stick (Flash Drive) so I can put them in the proper places when I get back.
Oh yeah, I'll be working every Friday and Saturday though out deer season. I'm apparently the only one that doesn't have a problem working on Saturday ... not like anything happens around here
I sure do VGDo you ever to get to bring home any meats for free? Even just small amounts would be a great benefit.

One of them is like the one I'm on now, but has a better processor setup and more RAM. The other is newer. This one of mine has gotten kinda slow now, so I'm gonna work on his newer one to see how well it will work for me. The other might still be pretty good, too.

Anyway, I'm glad to hear that you get free meat because of working there.
I get free stuff sometimes, too. People get new computer stuff and give me their old stuff. Some of it I take for myself, and some in case a customer can use it. I never sell it because it was given to me, though I guess I could. The man from the last big job I just did gave me two of his old computers. He held them for 2.5 years after getting new ones and finally decided he didn't need them anymore.

Yeah, I get something every once in a while but mostly just Oxtail for making soup ... amazing how no one wants that
And I'm always being offered deer meat but rarely take it unless I know who brought it in
