Just in case...were you at the Grand Canyon today? I saw a guy who looked so much like the pictures that I've seen of you.

no my sweet I havent moved from miami, but I come every day, trice each day just to check the spanish forum in case someone says something awful there
Our day started out great.
Got on train and each car had a hostess. I think we were lucky because she was so great. Funny and kept us entertained. Started of with everyone introducing themselves to her as she went isle to isle.
Learned there was one couple from Greenland, one from Switzerland, on from England, and two from Canada.
After that there was a fiddler and he was very good.
Next was hostess giving us info so everyone knew what they wanted to do after we arrived at the Grand Canyon. Many of us were limited on time since we returned today.
Some chose the option of staying a day or more. When they returned, they would use the train.
We used a shuttle to get from one place to another. Was sort of rushed since time between shuttles was limited. We only had time to do so many stops so we skipped one to spend more time at one in particular.
All I can say about the place is it is awesomely BIG!!!
On the train ride home, we had a guitar/singer entertain us and the hostess filled in the gaps with some history and info of things we saw. It was fun.
Oh I almost forgot to mention (not really), there was a train robbery!!!!!!!!!! 8-o
We are both so tired but we certainly enjoyed the day.

This is my last night with sis....she will not be back to Illinois until spring...spends the winter at her home in AZ.....imagine that!
So I have been visiting with her. Tomorrow morning....up early to get packed up. We are spending the night at the casino since sis' airport is in the same city. We just could not drive all the way over there without giving them some money.
Am saying good night to all.......see you Saturday.
