Nothing like getting new gear only two days after order is placed. Guess it's perks of living in the same state!

I've never had one leak on me and I am a notorious over dripper and over squonker.I hope so, heard great things, can't wait to sit down and build. Hopefully this is the answer to wife's leaky atty problem

Thats impressive. Huge props to all involved in that processI agree with the fast shipping. Maine to Alabama took 2 days as well. Rob and everyone else there that may help him bust their .... and get ordered out quick. Never tried this atty though.
Rebuilt it down to .54 from .8, so much better. Definitely going to play around and find that sweet spot. Haven't ventured into twisted wire yetVectors don't leak. Unless you squonk it upside down. They need some power to really shine, in my experience. Dual coils with twisted 28 gauge and it's a nice vape. Get the coils as far out to the edge of the deck as possible, right under those air holes. Don't be afraid to close down the air holes, I'm running .25 ohms and have only two air holes open.

for the first two months I had my grand....every atty I put on there leaked, a LOT. I'd pick it up and have juice all over my hand. an oring helped a lot, but, not at first. But then it's like it finally seated, and no issues. Every now and then, I reckin if it's not seated quite right, I'll still get leaking but now it's only a little, not a handful. But took the woodvil out today, and for the first time going out and about, not a drop of leaking anywhere! (only been out with a reo a few other times, I"m mostly just in the house)Hopefully this is the answer to wife's leaky atty problem
yabbut........let groundhog's day pop it and it lays em out flat!!"Neither snow nor rain nor heat nor gloom of night stays these couriers from the swift completion of their appointed rounds.
I always use O rings, she was always getting the leak from the air holes, so hopefully the top air flow will be the solution. let us know what ya think of em, particularly compared to any others you may have tried.

oh kewl! yeah if it was coming from the air holes, the top air flow should help, glad it is!I always use O rings, she was always getting the leak from the air holes, so hopefully the top air flow will be the solution. Two days in and I haven't heard of any issues yet.

As the founding member of Over Squonkers Anonymous, I can say that the top flow RM9 is great. Even I can't get it to leak unless I tip it mouthpiece down. I run mine with RXW 3mm around 1.0 Ohm, great flavor and vapor output. I prefer it to the RM7 because the air flow is easier to adjust, the build is easier because the wire slot are so large and they sit rather high. This one is a complete winner in every way for me. I got a second, one for each REO. I have not tried lower Ohms but after reading this thread I going to give it a go. (As an aside, I prefer ordering from Rob, gotta support the good guys.)
If you're the founder, I'm the President, or at least CEO.....have you ever used a nuppin? So far that has been my fav atty, with derringer clone a close second. Any thoughts on how a vector might stand up alongside those two?
hehehe Dear Mr Founder:To the President and CEO of OSA - I have no Nuppin experience, I never was able to my hands on one. I prefer the RM9 to the RM7 Derringer style because of the top air flow of the RM9. I liked everything about the Derringer except the leaking due to my lack of self control when squonking.
hehehe Dear Mr Founder:
I was very lucky to have been given a nuppin by someone who didn't like it (can't imagine that) but thanks for the input. But does the rm9 = derringer in flavor? I've gotten a handle on most of the leaking now with orings. Mine usually didn't leak out the airhole, although it has, but would leak out the bottom, so maybe it was getting between the atty and afc and leaking down, not sure. It still happens, just not as much thank goodness. But the first two months I had the grand, almost everytime I picked it up I'd get a handful of juice.![]()
Making an executive decision here.......you're always on the Agenda! That's good to know bout the Rm9. I haven't had much leaking with the derringer clone I have since using the o ring, only once I think. Most of my leaking issues have been resolved, but it was making me nuts the first couple of months. Really good to know about the Rm9. Will save up and try one. The nuppin is really hard for me to build, always takes me a lot of time and I'm sure I don't do it well, but it's just the best flavor and perfect air for me so it's worth it. But wish I could find a good build video or get someone in the hangout that is really good at it to help me with the mechanics of it to do it better. I'm sure there is an easier way than how I do it. lol Appreciate you chimin in bout the Rm9Sorry to intrude on your OSA board meeting, but the RM8/derringer leaking is most likely happening out the air holes. It's such a squat atty, that the risk is increased.
As for flavour, the Nup' is easier to get dialled in. The RM9 takes a bit of tweaking to get it right - coils out as far as fit and up to just below the air. When it is set up juuuust right, though, it's flavour is in the same realm as the Nup' (YMMV).
