I tried burning them, but no change. Is that plastic taste just part of the whole thing?

Why would you think that... others wouldn't be using them if they thought they tasted like plastic or rubber...

I've read through most if not all of the main fluxo thread... many have reported the silicone cup being pushed down too much and touching the coils causing a similar taste... those that did had trimmed the cup and resolved it. That is the closest thing I've heard to what you describe yet you said it didn't appear to be it.

This is what I think, and I wish I was wrong, because I wouldn't have to find a substitute for the fluxomizer. I think they taste like plastic. Maybe the reason people like them is that I'm particularly sensitive to this taste and someone else may not taste it like that. I taste plastic. It bothers me because not only did I spend money on them + the juice, but gotvapes advertises the clean taste you'll get from them. To me, it's plastic, and even trying a heavier ejuice that I had, doesn't cover it up. Nothing is burning so far as I can see. If I take out the silicone plug, and draw on it even without the mouthpiece, it's the same plastic taste which nature is telling me not to inhale. I'll bet it's the plastic it's made of and that there is no way out of it. I'm not hallucinating. They tast like plastic!

oK, I read this thread:
http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...uxomizer-delux-tastes-like-plastic-print.html

and plucked off the tube like gotvapes shows in their youtube video and all of a sudden I notice this little black wiggly thing that the ceramic thingy sits on. I took that off, and lo and behold, that plastic taste is 95% gone. I say 95% because there's still a little plastic taste, but that little black thing is what made the fluxomizer experience kind of vomitory.

I just tried the new supreme fluxomizers, I have never use this type of product before. I take the little nipple tip/cup off (all one piece) and getting it back on is horrible, it doesn't sit right and it pushes the juice straight through the bottom. You can see that the tip has to go back on a certain way. Can I take it out and just use a drip tip? Unfortunately, they didn't include a drip tip with my purchase (which it said was included). Any tips?

With the new Fluxos (which I am very happy with--no futzing so far), all I do now is give it a rinse, pat dry, and dry burn to get rid of the primer fluid. Since I started doing that, I very rarely get a burnt or plastic taste. I also don't use the new 1-piece plugs. I replace them with the black donut from the previous version and the top plug (I loathe drip tips). With that, I also very rarely get leakage into the ceramic cup and there isn't condensation build up in the gaps (can be confused with leaking). The donut and top plug fit nice and snugly together. Once in a blue moon I get dry hits but that is when the juice is down to about 1/8 to 1/4 left in the carto.

Hey I actually just received some of the old model Fluxomizers, is there anything I need to know?

Looks like a black piece, donut, and the actual seal itself.

Don't really need the black piece, drip tips will work nicely (Maybe keep them on for travel purposes? Less leaking).

Other than that, I'll just trim the seal so the wicks have a little more room to breathe and reassemble? Looks basically the same as the new ones, so I'll keep the donut in there and that should work?

Instead of starting a new thread, I thought I'd just ask this here!

I have 4 XL Fluxomizers, but they have the old plug system/tube. These things are ridiculously difficult to clean and take apart compared to the new ones. Not to mention the tube is very weak and feels like it could crack at any second.

Does anyone else have some new Fluxomizer tubes and seals laying around? I don't need the innards, literally just the tube/seal, could be from an old Fluxomizer that's stopped working or is old!

I could give you like 5 bucks or something with a gift card to Gotvapes if anyone would mind shipping me 4 Fluxomizer tubes and 4 of the seals.

Thanks!

if u need tubes, get bd brand 3ml syringes and cut them to length. i have done that before and works great, but have to be bd brand. they are the same inside diameter as the tubes :)

I second that. 3ml BD syringes make great Fluxo tubes. I used to have some smoke colored Fluxos, and got tired of having to hold them up to a lamp to see how much juice was in them; so I made new tubes from some syringes. My local pharmacy orders them for me. Box of 100 for about $15.
