So, I got my new Kgo today- love it! Tho o didn't order enough cartos, gotta get some more. I burnt one today too for the first time-eewwww! Lol anyway tho I do have a couple questions:

First, does the led light in the switch button flash when it needs to charge?

And I'm open to suggestions on how to take this places without accidently pressing or worse holding the button down in my purse or something!

Sorry if this is an obvious question, but doesn't it have a 5 click shutoff? Most of them do, but some don't. You may have overlooked that?
The kGos that I've seen without the 5 click shutoff have been advertised as including a "button protector". Not sure how that works, but it's supposed to be an alternative to the 5 click shutoff.

Otherwise, you can get a very nice little case, made for the eGo, for about $10. I got one with my Lavatube and it's actually quite compact, well made and holds some extra stuff. And don't wear tight pants. :)

Yes, the light is supposed to flash when the battery is low. For the life of the battery, it's best not to wait for the flash but to top it off early and often.

Hmm. It didn't come with a manual so I don't know if its got a 5 click shutoff... Or anything about that. I will Google it and give it a try and see if it works lol

And thanks for the charging tip :)

I'm lookin at cases, I find myself passing on perfectly good ones in search of "The Perfect Case" lol

The light will usually flash if the button is held down for 10-15 seconds. I think most do if the carto is shorted out, as well.

Pressing the button 5 times within 2 seconds should cause the button to flash 3 times and turn off the PV. 5 in 2 will turn it back on and it will flash 3 times.

They are not all the same and there are few manuals, however most are built using the same circuit boards.

Enjoy!

DB, you're so much like me!! My KGO does not have the 5 click shut off, but me ego-t does. Just press the button 5 times fast & see if it shuts off. Most if the new KGOs do have that feature. I bought a nice ego case, it's about the size of a glasses case, hard sided and zips closed. It's really nice and holds lots of stuff, batts and Cartos. Other than burning a carto, how do you like it? And what color is it??

Five click shutoff works! Thanks so much!

Luvinit, I love this thing! Vapor production is wonderful, I'm exploring flavors etc. But I'm super happy with the PV. Great device! And its black. I read something about a blue one somewhere, I totally would have done that had I read it before I ordered. But I like the look of the black :) I may tattoo it tho :) it needs a butterfly, maybe a frog lol. If y'all hear me start talkin about naming this thing, stop me, k? :D lol

Long live the battery! It's really awesome to have not had to worry about shuffling batteries on the charger all day! I'm super excited about that lol :)

On a side note, the Boge LR's may not be for me, I seem to get more enjoyment from the standard resistance. Just interested me, I've heard so much good about the Boge LR's. Don't get me wrong, they are great cartos, just not for me right now/yet lol.

I know I babble a lot, I'm sorry LOL, I'm just having fun with it all :)

Hey DB.. it's great to see that you're loving your KGO.. as for cartos, whatever works for you is the best!

This is my pretty RED KGO!! And yes, they come in a very nice blue too.. thinking of getting a couple blue ones for my bday. I've also seen them in pink, but I'm not crazy about the pink. I think that's a fabulous idea to tatoo your black one.. I have a black Ego passthrough,, might steal your idea!!

Oh yeah,, and babble away!!! This whole thing is supposed to be fun!

Ok, I'll stop.... Maybe... Wait.... Nope. I tried! I even slowed down a little! Lol

I think the cartos thing is gonna be an adventure, Im just gonna have to try a bunch and see :)

And I'm definitely going to need a blue battery! :) I may wind up with a red one too. I would get pink, but its my 5 year old daughters favorite color and I don't want her getting any more interested.

I'm lovin' on my new (titanium) KGO too, and I've been offering hits to my smoking friends and showing it off everywhere! I want more colors though. I wish it came in light green.
Must...not...name...it. Darn you DreamingButterfly for putting that idea in my head. :glare:

I got BOGE carts with it, now I'm curious about the dual coil ones.
What does it mean to "keep them wet?" Just don't let it run dry?

I've had my KGO for over 3 weeks now (23 days with no cigs!). I've tried several carto options. So far, my favorite is the E-Turbo/Stardust option. E Turbo Atomizer
They are just super easy to fill, and you can see how much juice is there. I've been using the same ones for 3 weeks now with no problems. I've seen comments that earlier versions cracked, but apparently that has been fixed for the most part. I'm really finding that I like options where I can see the juice instead of worrying about how much is there. I'm also trying the CE3, and Ego Mega, but suspect I'll probably be sticking with the eturbo.
