Love the New 808D E2 Ceramic V4 Cartomizers, Both 2.5 and 3.0 Amps

Got my new order several days ago and put the cartomizers through my cleaning routine yesterday:
1. Disassemble the three silicone plugs and put them in 100 proof vodka.
2. Boil the cartomizers in distilled water for one hour.
3. Rinse the cartomizers in 100 proof vodka.
4. Dry in my toaster oven on the convection setting at 150 °F for one and a half hours.
5. NO DRY BURN!
6. Reassemble as needed before filling.

They are producing great vapor and taste fantastic. I'm using them with a drip tip on my V4L regular auto batteries and can't tell much difference between the 2.5 and 3.0 amp yet. I have yet to try the 510s on my eGo.

When I took these apart, I did notice some fluid from the factory. Not a problem if cleaned as described above. Now if I could just figure out why they come with the filler material?

The filler is to use if you want to use it, you can slide it down the side of the carto to make it wick better or put a little on top of the ceramic cup, I haven't found it helps much but its good to hear they are working for you

The KR808D's are in stock.
In the Mega and Regular.
In the 2.5 or 3.0 ohm.

Am I the only person who just fills 'em and uses 'em? I have both rev3s and rev4s and never have any trouble (am using automatic 510s and KR808s and manual Tornegos). I had one that 3.0ohm 510 not work right out of the box...soaked it in Everclear, dried a bit with a hair dryer, and let set overnight to dry out completely...it worked like a charm.

I do love these cartos!!!!

Best to clean them much as above before use. I cut one of the V4, 3.5s open on my first pack and it was full of primer to the point of it dripping off the strings. Bruce let us know after that happened that the factory said that it fills some, if not all, with primer to test them. I now clean all of mine before use.
