I need to thin my DIY 100% VG juice and have followed the advice to use Vodka. I know I could use distilled water or Everclear but haven't gotten around to buying Everclear yet and want the extra TH that you get from using alcohol rather than water to thin my juice,
Tonight I was blending a tobacco flavor and decided to try Irish Whiskey to thin it since I really love Irish Whiskey and was drinking it in a Manhattan anyway,

Wow,,,perfect, I didn't even think of using an alcohol with flavor before for thinning and TH,
This really mellowed out the tobacco flavor nicely,

I've been enjoying rum and brandy in mixes. If you use a 100% VG base you can add the greatest amount of liquor without thinning the juice excessively.

Tip: if you're trying to provide the characteristic liquor taste, the better boozes are too smooth. For example, next time I make Tequila Sunrise I'll use white Cuervo instead of Patron.
