Just got my first piece of vapemail! Ordered a Kanger Protank 3 from Amazon, and must say that I love it so far! I do believe it's possible that it's a fake, but I don't care! Definitely better than the CE4! Good vapor production, nice warm vapor, and it doesn't kill my fixed voltage eGo batteries as quick as I thought it would. They'll definitely work until I get my mod next week, anyway. It's nice to vape without burnt hits, dry hits, or a mouthful of juice!

Picked one up today. Delicious. :p

Works way better with the invisible wick atomizer I pulled from my Evod. The exposed wick atomizers that came with the Pro 3 were terrible in comparison. Will use nothing but the invisible wick variety from now on, picking up more tomorrow.

Enjoy your new ProTank 3. Sure am enjoying mine. :2cool:

Found out that it is definitely a knock-off. For some reason though, there was literally NO consistency in vaping with it. Good vapor production one time, virtually none the next. Good flavor from my juice, then none at all. Not sure what the issue is, but it just got shelved, and now I'm using an Aspire CE5-S DBC with my iTaste VV/VW V3. Blows the beans off the PT3! Sort of disappointed in the Protank clone. No... not "sort of". VERY disappointed. I think Aspire has just gained a new loyal customer.... Maybe after I rebuild the coils for the PT, it'll work better. At least I hope....

Hmmm, I own a mini protank3 and it's great.

I own a P3 mini and its a good tank, the big drawback to me is it only holds 1.4 mils. I bought some Kanger MT3s clearomisers that hold 3 mils[for $6 ]- performance is almost on par and Bottom Coil replacement heads are $ 7 for 5. I do not use tank kracker flavors so no issues with the plastic MT3s tank

What specs would I use? Wire gauge, number of wraps, etc.... I'm using it on an MVP 2.0....

Depends on what ohm coil you like?

I assume you are already building horizontal micro coil's ? Just use whatever gauage wire and number of wraps you use for a horizontal.

In my thread I first used a 1.5mm drill bit about 10 wraps of 28 gauge kanthal gives me about 1.6ohm coil but later on i updated the post that I am now using a 2mm drill bit 28 gauge kanthal and about 7/8 wraps for a lower 1.2 to 1.3 ohm coil suits my vaping better

I'd like to run around 2.0Ω....
