If you like the simplicity of design and ease of use of the Green Smoke, then SKIP THE EGO and get a KR808D-1. From what I know, Ego's have 3 parts (that's one more part you'll have to "muss and fuss" with) - the extra being an atomizer (heating unit) which which is one more thing you'll have to replace with use. If you get a personal charging case (PCC) with a KR808D-1, you can keep one battery charged while using another. Even one XL battery lasts me all day, but that's just me.

Unless you need a PV plastered to your face 24/7, you should be fine. I say this because when I was looking for a new system, Ego, mods, tanks, walkie-talkie and car battery-looking-things were all I heard and I'm glad I went with a KR808D-1 coming from a Green Smoke. Happily vaping with no desire to get anything else.

I'm not knocking on your recommendation. Many people love and swear by the KR808D-1. To be fair though, you can use cartomizers with an eGo as well. I'm glad you found something that works for you! Really, that's the most important thing.

We have been using the Riva about a month now and in all honesty just love the battery live. Takes the constant worry of running out of battery completely away for us.
