My TOX arrived today and so far, so GREAT! I am so happy I got this thing!

The presentation box is nice. There is an instruction booklet that is good for a laugh and a little bit of insight, but if you have no idea how to put the battery in then it won't help you much.

I really like the look and feel of the mod itself. Attractive black housing, not too heavy but still a quality feel in your hand. The buttons are nice and clicky and the parts all seem to be machined well. Everything fits together like a dream!

Even with the dearth of information in the instruction booklet, it only took me about 2 minutes to figure out all the function buttons. It's pretty intuitive once you get rolling. The display is nice and bright, easy to read and a good size for me.

vaping the TOX rocks. Using a 3.0 boge, I went all the way through the volts in .1 increments and the difference is astounding. I don't have a meter, so I can't give you hard numbers, but I'd say this thing is powerful! I have quite the collection of different cartos, both ohms and styles, clearos, stardusts, etc. and I love that I can now use them all on the same device and always get the perfect vape. The only downside is that a stardust will not work with a 510 mini extender, so you'll need a longer extension or a 510 to ego adapter.

All in all, I am so happy I decided to buy the TOX. It's everything I was hoping it would and more be out of the box. I will update when I can comment on battery life and longevity.

hello can you use tanks on this version, i see the head is rounded or will i need a adapter, and can i buy an extra 18500/18350 battery on the site, thanks
Vision grandes and stones work on it without an adapter...I haven't tried a carto tank yet, but it should work just fine. The top isn't completely flush, there is a tiny bit of clearance around the 510 connection. No extra batteries on the site yet, bad or danno should be able to let you know if they'll be available. HTH!

Nice review, Thren, I have to agree. It seems to be a pretty solid unit. I like the look of the OLED, but I'm not a fan of too many button presses. To change voltage on this guy, you press the minus button and hold until the time/ date displays, then press again and hold til the time since last vape display, then press agin and hold till current voltage displays. Then you can press + or - to change the voltage. (a little nit-picky, I know, and this serves as a failsafe to prevent unintended voltage change) Overall, I am pleased thus far. Thanks Danno, Bad and the Gotvapes crew.

So - this won't shuffle down the voltage if a dual coil is on it? (1.5 dc for instance? I hear the LT does cycle down)
I don't use dc and I don't have a meter, so I can't give you first hand knowledge and I haven't seen a solid answer on that yet, sorry.
