So I got my K100 in the mail today from the classies. As I was driving around, fiddling at work, I had a thought! Currently I do not have any type of tank style rba, waiting on rsst coop. So I put an evod on the copper k100. The stainless evod looks quite nice on the copper btw. However it wasn't hitting very good because of the 2.2ohm head in the evod. Well, why not build a 1-1.2 ohm head for the evod?!? Anyone ever went that low for the evods? As far as I can tell, everything is metal up to the tip so it should work!

Thoughts?

I don't see why you couldn't? I am using a stainless EVOD on my K100 as well. I didn't want to go that low, ohms wise, but I did buy some 1.8 ohms heads for it and it made a big difference. I also sanded the contacts (per eHuman) as every little bit helps (more power to the coil).

The K100 thread is here http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/apv-discussion/386895-kamry-k100.html and the sanding process is here http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/apv-discussion/386895-kamry-k100-6.html (page 6, post #60).

EVOD head rebuild are here http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/tanks/404174-evod-protank-head-rebuild.html and here http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/clearomizers/396220-kanger-protank-rebuild.html for those that want to go lower.

Just rebuilt a dead evod head at 1.8 w/ 32g wire. It was all i had. I placed a toothpick across the channel, wrapped the 3 wraps, removed toothpick and threaded a 2mm silica wick through it and placed one small piece of wick on top of it like they do with the regular heads. Once i put it back together and it got wet from the juice its reading .1Ω :( try and try again!
