Low resistance (0.8 ohms) with Smok ego Winder 1100 mAh

Hi all.
I started vaping about a month and a half ago and I'm trying my hand at building low resistance clearomizer coils for the Kanger Protank 2 with a smok eGo Winder 1100mAh. I've built a 5 wraps coil using 28 gauge kanthal and the resistance came out to 0.8 Ohms. While it vapes beautifully with a terrific flavor hit, I hear that using low resistance coils on the eGo winder is a bad idea . Has anyone tried this? The current draw is very high and I understand it's likely that the clearomizer will have a short life but is it likely to blow up in my face?

Any advice will be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Its not that the clearomizer has a short life its the battery in the ego winder is being pushed far beyond its limit's. .8 ohm is about the limit of a really really good 18350 battery. those little batteries in the ego are waiting on failure.

for a ego you should be no lower then a 1.2ohm to be vaping in a safe range.
