You have a VV/VW so it doesn't really matter, you'll be able to dial it in to the voltage or power that gives you the vape you need.
I personally always buy atomizers at around 1.5 to 1.8 as I like a warmer vape and I can use them on my mechs and still get good performance.

Try both. You can put either on since you can adjust power to suit. You'll get longer battery life out of the standard resistance.
Thanks, think you're right I'm gonna try both I'd like a longer battery life, does boge make an xl HR? Wouldn't that increase battery life even more? I ask about boge BC I've heard they one of the best cartos
Boge makes LR and SR (standard resistance) xl cartos. Like ImageX said, try both. Dial in your voltage/wattage and see what you like. Half of the fun I have had while vaping has been experimenting

Many of us who use a variable voltage battery use the "Ohm + 2 Formula".
Say you have a 2.0 ohm cartomizer, add that number with the number "2".
2 + 2 = 4.
4 volts is a good ball park figure to use with that ohm cartomizer.

while the concept is sound, it doesnt really work that way on a vv mod. you will see slightly more battery life but not much, and not enough to constantly hunt down high res devices.
to drive a high resistance will require higher voltage and as the battery dies the vv part has to pull more amps from the battery to keep the voltage set high to drive the high resistance device, that conversion usually eats most of the energy savings.
I've noticed a few flavors work better with high resistance. Inky one flavor comes to mind though, unicorn blood. It gets gross after a couple of pulls with lower or standard resistance, but I get expected use with it in high resistance coils. I've been meaning to thermograph different resistances at same power levels.
I've found that flavor and vapor production depend more on the surface area heated. So it depends on what gauge and the configuration of wraps more than resistance (if using VV device). It's really more an art than a science in this area. The best results I've had have been non contacting .3 ribbon but that is hard to find. .4 works well. .5 does not. I prefer .28 or .30 round wire contacting over the smaller stuff. So generally if the resistance is between 1.5 and 2.5 I'm happy with that and concentrate more on the layout of the coil for results.
If you were using a set voltage (3.7 volts) non VV/ VW PV then the resistance would matter BUT seeing as you have a VV/ VW the resistance really won''t make that much of a diff. Most use around 3.0 ohms on a VV/ VW device....I use 1.8 ohms cuz I also enjoy a warm vape and I can also use them on my other set voltage/ 3.7 volt PVs.
Thanks a ton for the input and after I get my setup complete I'm gonna try using both as well as look into rebuilding my own n learn more about coils and that stuff
