LOL I must be the only one who can't go lower in the evenings or I literally just crash. Cut my nic level and I'm out for the count. If anything I find I need to go higher in the evening but I'm trying to phase out the 36s and force myself onto all 24s.

Nope - I'm 36mg (with occasional 24mg) mornin', noon and night

But I'm still new (5 weeks-ish) so I'm more concerned about keeping the cravings at bay then sleeping as my 3-5AM posts will attest to 8-o

I haven't been able to cut down at night. If anything I step the nic up. Of course I would smoke a lot before bed before. I had a hard time falling asleep at first but I don't now.
I don't get up in the middle of the night and light up anymore so that's a big bonus. One thing I was always ashamed of was the fact I couldn't get through the night without getting up for a smoke. That's when I knew things were getting way out of hand. As others have said on here it does seem a lot easier to go between vapes then it was to go between smokes.

will burn one when I set out a little food for the stray cats

See, he IS a big softy.

Funny story though, I used to do that and ended up with two living in the crawl space under my house 8-o

Is was alright in the summer, but when I was trying to insulate the winter the cats kept tearing the foam out of the vents.

Needless to say my pipes froze. And I did nothing about it

I've begun vaping 11mg at night, instead of my usual 18 mg and find myself ready to sleep a little earlier, which is good for us old timers. I also learned that a flavor I hated at 18 mg, is delicious at 11 mg. Not telling which, don't want you guys to clean out the store!:D

I typically do the same thing.

Actually....it was a bad winter here and I haven't gotten around to trapping them yet. My aunt runs a cat shelter (I call her Cat Woman)...and she will take them off my hands and get them checked out by a vet.

Who knew you were such an animal lover!

Smart, knowledgeable, helpful, and a big heart! Cute, too (look kinda like Kevin Spacey)

I DEFINITELY need to cut back nic at night. I've had some vivid dreams early on but mainly what happens to me is I finally crash at midnight or so and then wake an hour later and literally be up till the crack of dawn. I used to do 36mg at night but dropped it to 24mg. However that is obviously still too high for me. I think I'll bring it down to 10 or below.

The only thing is I have that strong crave at night, so to kill it I bang on some high nic stuff. Kills the crave, but keeps my laying away all night :(

Do any of you have any good suggestions for bed time? This is probably the ONLY thing that I haven't figured out how to control.

    Thank you!

I used to wake up in the mornings and smoke 3 - 5 cigs just to get going. Originally started vaping at 18 mg and did not sleep well or get enough to vape in the morning - chain vaped til noon. So now vaping 24 mg or 18 mg in first thing in the morning, switching to 18 mg before lunch, and down to 11 mg at about 4 p.m. The PV is on the night stand so I can take a hit or two and never get up (make myself lay there). I may need to try vaping 11 mg by after lunch, but working on this arrangement now. So far so good - sleeping is improving, resting better. Would like to hear how you do.

Glass of red wine iceman. Or some sort of alcoholic drink. Fix a small drink, watch a little tv in bed and crash out.

But what I find interesting here... is I still smoke cigs before bed. I have to have 2 cigs as it really knocks me out. Also if I wake up in the night, its tough for me to get back to sleep unless I have a cig. Cigs actually make me more tired. Relaxed. I have yet to break the before bed smoke but soon.
